Cranberry Spinach Salad

Alright so this week we made a delicious salad! I'm usually not one to go for a salad at a restaurant, but this is soo good. It only took us about 10 minutes. The hardest part of the recipe is just finding the ingredients (some you might not have around the house). Other than that is was super easy. We did this all in one day.
First we just toasted the almonds in a little butter. It smelled so good!  Then mixed everything in a bowl and topped it with the almonds. The dressing was a yummy homemade vinaigrette. Lastly we had some students and staff tell us what they think.
Maria Becker-"It nothing I've ever tasted before!"
Teigland-"It was so good, maybe a little too much dressing, but I loved the flavors!"
Ambrosius-"It was really good girls, I just printed the recipe for my self"

Skillet Chocolate Cookie

So this is pretty exciting. We made a GIANT COOKIE. Honestly, I was the of the eastied things ever.
We did this all in one day.
First we melted the butter in a 10 in skillet. Took off heat and mixed in sugars and vanilla. Next after letting it cool for 5 minutes. I wisked in the egg. Lastly adding in the rest of the ingreidients! After spreading it in the pan and sticking it in the oven at 350 for 20 min it was done!
Next we cut it up and served it to some students and staff.

Here's what they said:
Ochoa:"This made my day, I gooey warm cookie Thanks girls"
Hanson " I LOVE you"
Bradford:"This is so good "

Homemade Pizza

Soooooo. This week we had the opportunity to make a pizza! Pizza lands in the top 3  of my favorite foods so this was a good week for me.
DAY 1: We made the pizza dough. We mixed together all the ingredients. Next we put it in the fridge overnight.  This only took us about 10 minutes.
DAY2: This day we got to spread out the pizza dough on the pan and spread the sauce on the dough. We cut up the green bell peppers, tomatoes and onions. I usually aren't a fan of peppers but they complimented the pizza so well. After we put on the mozzarella, peppers, tomatoes, and onions. Finlay later that day we put it in the over at 425 for approx. 25 min. It smelled wonderfully and tasted even better!

The reaction from some of the teachers/students were as followed:
Prafke: "This is really good, way better then the frozen stuff I usually eat!"
Ambrosius: "wow girls that was great!"
Hanson: "you two and my favorite, pizza was great"

One of the best lunches I've eaten.  I will defiantly make this for my family.

Italian Sausage Soup

One of our requirements is to make a soup. I haven't made very many soups in my life but I really loved this one. We decided to make Italian sausage soup just because it sounded yummy.
First we browned the Italian sausage in the stock pot. Next we added the diced carrots, tomatoes, and broth. Also salt and pepper to season.  Next we added the beans and zucchini. We cooked it all in the pot until everything was tender. Lastly we added the spinach and let it sit for 5 min. After that it looked like this.

Also we made garlic bread, We used french bread and just some garlic bread spread.

We put them in some little cups and had some teachers taste it.
When some of our teachers tried it this is what they said:

Luethner "It had amazing flavor"
Rosh "Ohh., wow that's really good! I love the flavor"
Ambrosius "A+ for you guys!"

All and all it was another hit for us in the kitchen :)
